Dear Graham,

Just wanted to pass on my thanks to you and Chateaux Swing for their performance yesterday. It was just exactly the best of what I was hoping for when I booked you, they were absolutely brilliant, perfect for the event, and my dad loved it.  I shall never again listen to J’attendrai without thinking of English cats…. I can’t give you anything but love was a particular highlight for me (though actually also come to think of it, Putting on the Ritz and Honeysuckle Rose), but people loved Football’s coming home too; and Sweet Sue went down really well with my mum.  It just couldn’t have been better in any way, we were so delighted and they really made the whole day, thank you so much.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the rest of the Sunshine Kings for your great performance at last Thursday’s Tea Dance. As always, the residents had a fantastic time and danced the afternoon away to both of the band’s sets.

Your band was much admired with lots of people coming up to me to say how much they like the band at the reception. Charlie himself – my son – said how perfect it was for him after the exhilaration following completing the service to be the first to arrive back at the house and be greeted by the wonderful sound stomping away gently at the entrance to the garden.

Well done – and just as we had hoped.

Just to say a huge thank you for the gig on Saturday – which was clearly very well received by the audience. There’s a comment on FB asking if you’ll come back and the customer saying (yesterday afternoon) that she is still smiling! Although I’ve seen you guys a few times, I really thought it worked very well at Ashcroft and it was the best gig I’ve seen. You are all such talented, wonderful musicians individually in your own rights, but the chemistry was fantastic. It felt like we had experienced something very special and unique. The playfulness and sense of enjoyment and fun was contagious. Thank you – and please do pass on my thanks to all the band. I hope the journeys back home were all ok.

"I just wondered if you'd be able to find a way to pass on my huge thanks to Brass Volcanoes for being so brilliant yesterday at the Royal Docks Family Weekender event.

Despite the challenge of not having a stage when they arrived they were all incredible enthusiastic and happy to be flexible and adapt to a walkabout performance that I think possibly worked even better than a static gig might have done. Seeing residents out on their balconies enjoying the music was a real highlight and definitely lifted all of our spirits after a challenging and damp morning. "
